Welcome to my journey— I am Madeline Diane, a mother to four beautiful children, passionate composer, and an innovative marketing expert committed to transformative growth and making a lasting impact.

"Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom." — Aristotle

From an early age, my life has been characterized by an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and a determination to forge my own path. Graduating from high school at 16 and moving into University at BYU-Idaho the day I turned 17, I was awarded a full-ride music scholarship in Viola Performance, recognizing both my academic dedication and musical talent. These early years were crucial in shaping my understanding of discipline and passion, teaching me valuable lessons in balancing intense personal and academic demands.

The challenge of maintaining this balance became increasingly apparent as I entered into marriage and motherhood at a young age. Influenced by the norms and expectations of my community, I made the significant decision to pause my formal education to support my family. This period of my life was not just about sacrifice but about redirection; it sparked a journey of self-taught learning that would lay the groundwork for my future career. Balancing the needs of a growing family, I used my personal time in the early years while my children were napping to dive into the world of digital skills, teaching myself coding, graphic design, photography, videography, web development, SEO, and social media management.

By 19, armed with new skills and a burgeoning entrepreneurial spirit, I launched my own web development consultancy. This venture was not just a business; it was a platform that allowed me to apply my skills in real-world scenarios, helping small businesses establish their online presence, enhance their brand identity, and navigate the rapidly evolving digital landscape. My consultancy grew, deepening my understanding of market dynamics and refining my approach to digital marketing and brand strategy.

A Period of Transformation: Building Expertise and Overcoming Adversity

"The only way to do great work is to love what you do." — Steve Jobs

The decision to leave the Mormon church at 27 marked a profound shift in my personal and professional life. It was a decision that challenged my identity and relationships, leading to significant social isolation and emotional turmoil. This period forced me to reevaluate my values and beliefs, setting me on a path of personal growth and renewed self-discovery.

I was not emotionally prepared for the fallout of that necessary decision, and I faced a severe health crisis after a misdiagnosis left me bedridden and fighting for my independence. The experience of being in a wheelchair, sometimes nonverbal, losing and then slowly regaining my physical abilities was humbling and transformative. It instilled in me a deep empathy for others facing similar challenges and a renewed passion to help those struggling to find their voice and place in the world.

As I slowly recovered, I channeled my experiences into my work, using my story as a source of inspiration and motivation for others. This period also reinvigorated my commitment to my consultancy, allowing me to approach each project with a unique perspective on adversity and resilience. Once I was strong enough again, I dove back into consulting and building businesses once again. My work became not just about providing services but about building relationships and fostering communities of support and growth.

This transformative phase was not just about overcoming adversity but about harnessing it. It taught me the value of resilience, the importance of adaptability, and the power of a well-told story. These lessons have deeply influenced my approach to business and life, driving me to pursue projects that are not only commercially successful but also socially impactful.

Strategic Marketing Leadership: Driving Transformation

"Do not wait to strike till the iron is hot, but make it hot by striking." — William Butler Yeats

In my role as Vice President at Sage Marketing, I managed significant projects that challenged my strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. This included overseeing the strategic merger of Accelecom with Georgia Public Web, a complex endeavor requiring a nuanced understanding of both companies’ market positions and long-term objectives.

As the outsourced Marketing Director for HealthFirst Bluegrass, I led initiatives to overhaul their marketing strategies, aligning their branding with community health initiatives. This role allowed me to impact public health, using my expertise to bring essential services to nearly 20,000 citizens in Fayette County.

My ongoing role as consultant Marketing Director at Mustard Seed Hill exemplifies my capacity to breathe new life into established brands. Over the past three years, I have spearheaded initiatives that significantly increased revenue, bookings, and overall market engagement. These roles have not only honed my skills in strategic marketing but have also highlighted the importance of adaptive leadership and creative problem-solving in complex environments and stories.

In each of these roles, I identify and capitalize on market trends, crafting strategies that align with broader business objectives while also meeting specific community needs. My strategic initiatives are designed to be impactful and sustainable, ensuring that the businesses I work with are not only successful in the short term but poised for long-term growth and resilience.

Creative Synergy: Merging Art and Strategy

My deep-seated passion for music and the arts continually informs my professional work, allowing me to create marketing strategies that resonate on a deeper emotional level. Leading campaigns like the launch of the first year of Railbird Music Festival, I orchestrated a marketing strategy that leveraged local culture and microinfluencers, drawing significant attendance and boosting local tourism.

This holistic approach extends beyond event planning to encompass all facets of brand building and digital marketing. By integrating artistic sensitivity with strategic marketing principles, I craft campaigns that not only attract attention but also inspire and engage audiences on a profound level.

In addition to music and events, my work with graphic design, photography, and videography allows me to effectively lead creative teams and tell compelling brand stories. Each visual and narrative element is carefully crafted to enhance the brand’s identity and message, ensuring that each campaign delivers measurable results while also enriching the consumer’s experience.

This blend of art and strategy is not just about marketing products or services but about creating experiences that resonate and endure. It reflects my belief that the best marketing does not just sell; it enriches lives and elevates experiences, making meaningful connections between brands and their audiences.

Vision for the Future: Shaping Tomorrow with Integrity

"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." — Eleanor Roosevelt

Looking forward, I am excited about the opportunities to further blend my passions for strategic thinking, creative expression, and community engagement. My vision encompasses a future where marketing serves as a positive force for change, supporting sustainable practices and promoting inclusivity.

I harness emerging technologies and data analytics to refine marketing strategies that not only achieve business success but also contribute positively to societal well-being. My goal is to develop marketing practices that are not only effective but also ethically grounded and socially responsible.

The future I envision is one where businesses operate at the intersection of commerce and community, where marketing strategies foster genuine connections and where every campaign is an opportunity to make a positive impact. I am committed to leading by example, demonstrating that strategic marketing can be a powerful tool for good.
